This product allows you to set the number of presses in two instances (up to 6 presses for each instance) before the car/engine starts. Example : 6-presses, followed by another 6-presses... or 2-presses followed by another 3-presses... and so on and so forth. After each sequence, there will be beeps... 2-beeps for the first correctly-entered sequence, followed by 1-beep for the 2nd correctly-entered sequence. If number of presses are incorrectly entered, there will be a warning beep (a longish beeeep).
There is a module/control box (which should be hidden from view, in a "secret" place within the car's cockpit) that you can use to Set the number of presses, Secure the car (by enabling the press sequences) or disable/bypass the security (that you may have set).
Here's how it looks like on a Lancer :

You can, of course, install the start button wherever you wish.
NOTE that you can choose to
still allow your car key to start the car/engine, or you can opt to only let the Pivot start button to start the car/engine; just inform your installer which option you prefer. For me, I chose to disable car key start.
Of course, you still need to insert your car key and switch on the electrical system
