Modern cars use a lot of electronics, ECU etc. The Alternator Booster works on the alternator's charging system. Technically, what it does is augments the INCOMING current from the alternator to the battery.

It is akin to "turbo" charging and stabilising the alternator output. Thus the alternator output has less electrical noise and a better Amperage results. This means more electrical oomph. if im not mistaken, installing alternator booster hv 2 price.

RM300 for direct connect to alt.
RM450 got fuse connect to alt & batt.
(all price incl installation)

Yes, yes.......... its a huge mother fuse...... i heard some fanatics install 2 sumore..........but mine was the original w/o fuse but relocated nearer to the alternator

normally alternator booster installation located under front fender at driver side, wrapping with sponch layer & tighten with cabletile.

alternator booster is just a thick grounding wire with some extra (electronic)things in the middle of it, it may boost the alternator output voltage up to 14.6 or slightly higher.

Btw, do u use 2 or onli 1? Heard some uses 2...........

1 is enough.. dont waste money with 2.. the effect are same even with 2.. if u want more cheaper, get a thick grounding cable from accesserios shop (which were used for sound system), then connect it to negative terminal at battery and another point to the body of alternator. measure the voltage at battery before and after, u will see d difference there.

My LGT is 23 mths old clocked slightly above 40k km now, and is still on stock ori battery. I had those fitted incl other original Pivot stuffs within a week of getting my car. Perhaps others can comment too.
